Sindhu Venkatanarayanan is founder of DeviDoll.com, the UK’s first online luxury ethical fashion and lifestyle boutique and design incubator. Her role involves selecting and advising brands and designers represented on DeviDoll, and she knows what sells best online and why. She is also author of the ‘Curate Your Consumption’ blog, and has been involved with Estethica at London Fashion Week.

In her former role as Associate Director of the Ethical Fashion Forum, Amisha was responsible for social media and promotion of a raft of initiatives from events to the INNOVATION competition. Emily currently manages the marketing, PR and social networking team at the EFF. She was responsible for developing and delivering the marketing campaigns as well as event management for the Ethical Fashion SOURCE EXPO, and the EFF’s Ethical Fashion Networking events programme, which takes place monthly in London as well as in 12 other locations in the world. Emily is now responsible for strategy, marketing and resource development for the EFF’s Excellence in Ethical Fashion Programme.

Ruth Ferguson is the Founder and Creative Director of Olga Olsson, an award-winning luxury ethical fashion brand that works with small producers in Brazil to create high-end swimwear collections.

Prior to Olga Olsson Ruth spent six years in the mainstream fashion industry, working on design, product development and quality management for both luxury and high street brands, including Matthew Williamson, Hackett, Alexander Mcqueen, River Island, Principles, and Harrods. Ruth combines technical knowledge of fabric and fits with experience on the ground with factories and producers in Latin America and Asia.

Abi Rushton has nearly 20 years experience across head office and international sourcing roles for major international retailers. She also has hands on experience of garment production having started her career in UK manufacturing.

During a stint in South Asia Abi joined CARE international following the Asian Tsunami where she worked as Humanitarian Assistance Director leading the redevelopment of Sri Lankan coastal communities post Tsunami.

She therefore brings a unique combination of experience to the field of corporate responsibility and sustainability that enables her to implement business change whilst understanding the impact of this on individual workers, their communities and environments.

More recently Abi has worked with F&F, Tesco Clothing, to develop supply chains and product ranges that give customers ethical product choices across ladieswear, menswear and childrenswear. F&F now offer a full range of organic, Fairtrade and recycled products.

Abi is founder member of Cotton Revolutions. Cotton’s Revolutions is the cotton community’s online forum for strategic thinking, that provides the global industry with the opportunity to share information and establish a context for communication. Abi is also on the Steering Group for the DEFRA Sustainable Clothing Action Plan which aims to improve the sustainability of clothing sold across UK and in the supply chains that produce it.

A specialist of twenty years experience in the technical fashion field across the supplier, retail and ethical sector , Melanie has worked for companies such as Topshop and All Saints across various countries in the Far East, Europe and Africa, supporting and enabling technical and sustainable processes to be established.

In 2010 Melanie launched Empowerment Consultancy Limited and has worked with the London College of Fashion on the sustainability arm of the business. The aim of Empowerment Consultancy is to help strategise and set up the ethical and technical processes with brands, suppliers and designers.

Clara plays an instrumental role at the Textiles Environment Design (TED) Project, Chelsea College of Art & Design, which develops eco-design strategies for textile designers. Dani is Sourcing Manager at the Ethical Fashion Forum. She was responsible for laiising with suppliers, launching and managing the first SOURCE EXPO in 2009. Since then she has been responsible for leading on supplier liaison for the EFF, building our ethical sourcing database, and building relationships with pioneering sustainable suppliers from all over the world.

Dani also assists with various projects as part of the Ethical & Sustainable Sourcing team at Tesco Clothing.
