During November to December 2010, the EFF conducted a comprehensive survey, interviewing leading buyers- including ASOS and representatives of other mainstream High St shops as well as shops such as Young British Designers and those stocking specifically ethical fashion brands including Equa, 123 Bethnal Green Rd and The Fair Shop. 3. RETAIL AND SHOP SURVEY: OPPORTUNITIES FOR ETHICAL FASHION BRANDS

Setting out the results of EFF research, carried out in November 2010, into 21 leading UK stockists of ethical brands- including mainstream and High St stores, both online and on street and shops with a focus on ethical brands. Including stores target audience, focus, price points and ethical brands stocked.

4. HIT THE HEADLINES : RECOMMENDATIONS FROM LEADING PRESS- EDITORS AND EXPERTS

During November to December 2010, the EFF conducted a comprehensive survey, interviewing editors of leading publications and PR experts, including representatives of Forward PR, Foundation Agency, Style Bubble , Amelia Magazine, Esquire, Vogue, and My Shopping Secrets. A summary of key recommendations from this survey is set out here.

5. PRESS AND MEDIA SURVEY: OPPORTUNITIES FOR ETHICAL FASHION BRANDS

Setting out the results of EFF research into 40 leading Press and Media publications, online and printed including mainstream publications and those with an ethical focus. Includes details of circulation, target audience, and ethical brands featured. This survey was carried out in November 2010.

6. NAVIGATING INTERNATIONAL TRADE SHOWS

During November 2010, the EFF carried out a survey of fashion industry leading trade shows and trade shows with a focus on ethical fashion brands, including research and interviews with exhibitors and visitors. Includes details of costs to take part, types of exhibitors, product price points, strengths and drawbacks of each event. This section sets out the results of this survey.

During November 2010 the Ethical Fashion Forum carried out a survey of SME fashion brands and the certifications, labels and standards that they have engaged with in relation to their product range- to establish which are currently most popular in relation to product range and type.
