For the first time the INNOVATION awards include INNOVATION USA, in partnership with NOLCHA Fashion Week: New York 2011.

AWARDS CRITERIA

INNOVATION USA 2011 is open to all fashion designers based in the USA, Canada, and South and Central America. Winners are selected by an expert judging panel and showcased at Nolcha Fashion Week in New York, September 8th- 11th 2011.

INNOVATION UK 2011 is open to all fashion designers based anywhere else in the world- excluding the USA, Canada, South and Central America. Winners are selected by an expert judging panel and showcased at PURE LONDON, the UK’s largest womenswear trade show, August 7th-9th 2011.

Free professional photoshoot at Green Lens Studios is only available to INNOVATION UK winners and does not include models, make up, or stylist.

ALL APPLICANTS must have been in business for less than 3 years, designing Womenswear or Women’s Accessories.

Applicants need to be in a position to put into production a Spring/Summer 2012 collection – please see the judging criteria.

The competition will seek out and promote inspirational emerging design talent. Entries will be judged on the basis of outstanding design and product quality, as well as social and environmental innovation.

The number of winners of the INNOVATION competition varies from year to year.

• Include with your application up to 6 Jpeg or PDF images.

• For INNOVATION USA applicants, please complete and return both your Application Form and the Diversity Monitoring Form, with images, to: innovationusa@ethicalfashionforum.com

• For INNOVATION UK applicants, please complete and return both your Application Form and the Diversity Monitoring Form, with images, to: innovation@ethicalfashionforum.com

• Once completed and returned, applications will be reviewed and applicants will be notified by email whether their application has been successful.

• No samples are required at this stage of the application.

Please note: EFF do not cover expenses or travel costs, only the cost of the exhibition stand is included for winners.
