SOURCE Expo 2011: SEEKING ENTHUSIASTIC VOLUNTEERS

Are you a passionate, enthusiastic and professional individual looking to gain experience in the ethical fashion sector? Apply now to support the world’s premier sustainable sourcing event.

Taking place on 17 and 18th October, Sadler’s Wells, London, the SOURCE EXPO showcases inspirational suppliers and manufacturers from all over the world, working to fair trade, ethical and organic standards, linking them directly with hundreds of designers, retailers and brands.

Through the EXPO the EFF aims to open doors to mainstream markets for fair trade and ethical suppliers which are supporting communities and changing lives. Since its launch in 2009, the event more than doubled in size, with visitor numbers almost tripling.

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate individuals to volunteer their time to support EFF’s most exciting event be the best edition yet. We are looking for people in the lead up and during the event.

Now in its third season, the event includes a programme of seminars, introducing new products and exemplary supply and production systems, a DESIGNER PAVILION showcasing some of the most inspirational design led fashion from around the world and a trends area.

Volunteers cannot be paid, however travel within London and lunch can be covered at the event. Your time will involve contributing to our core work and helping out with a variety of tasks, gaining invaluable experience in the ethical fashion sector. Volunteers will get free access to the SOURCE Expo. Volunteers need be inspired by ethical fashion and have good written and people skills.
