Partnering with some of the top domestic and international brands, Evinix is a leader in best practice, demonstrating outstanding commitment to ethical production. Based in north Yorkshire, Izzy Lane are suppliers of locally produced knitwear, cashmere garments, accessories, fabrics and yarns. All products are made with 100% British Shetland Cloth and Yarn. The company has experience in exporting their products to international markets such as the USA.

Izzy Lane uses wool that is sourced from their own flock of rescued sheep and the fabric is produced locally. All sheep are bred in their natural habitats in the company’s sheep sanctuary. Izzy Lane is also looking to develop an animal welfare standard for wool made in the UK.

Jacobs Well is a fair trade production facility owned by the international charity Oasis. Based in Bangalore, India, Jacobs Wells products include non-stretch fabric, clothing and accessories.

Jacobs Well employs ‘graduates’ from the Oasis vocational training courses who are young people from poor and disadvantaged backgrounds, and provides training and fair trade employment in their production unit.

Panchachuli UK was launched to support the Panchachuli Women Weavers Co-operative from Northern India. Fabrics are made from raw materials which include; pure Pashmina, Lambswool, Merino Sheepwool, Bactrian Camel wool, Peace Silk and Himalayan Nettle. The Co-operative also embroiders a vast range of luxury accessories and fabrics.

A World Bank study into Panchachuli concluded that Panchachuli should be used as a model for socio-economic change, this was due to the structure of the co-operative which has empowered and given employment to 800 local women in North India.

Panchachuli are currently registering with the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO). The Women Weavers of Kumaon are proud to showcase their exclusive range for the first time in the U.K. this season.
