EFC SEEKING ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE INTERN
The Ethical Fashion Consultancy (EFC) is currently looking to recruit an Account Executive Intern, which is a key and varied role in the organization, encompassing project management and administration, marketing and PR and research.
The EFC is the consultancy arm of the non-profit Ethical Fashion Forum, the industry body for ethical fashion. The EFC operates by drawing on a pool of consultants who are specialists in a variety of fields relevant to ethical procurement and fashion and textiles including: supply chain building; ethical supply chain assurance; brand building; marketing; development & implementation of ethical trading and corporate social responsibility policies and programmes; selection and recruitment of human resource and more.
Having recently recruited a dynamic and entrepreneurial board, the EFC is at an exciting point in its development. By joining the team at this point you will develop a wide range of skills and expertise in consultancy environment and sustainability, be in close contact with fashion brands, retailers and players of the fashion industry. We are looking someone with a marketing or business background and with an interest/experience in fashion and sustainability.

ONLINE MARKETING & RESOURCE PROFESSIONAL
The Ethical Fashion Forum is currently looking to engage a professional with experience of online marketing, and sales models, with a particular emphasis on subscription websites, online database, social networking and successful ways of generating income through web products.
The position is an unpaid advisory role, with the potential to lead to a paid role.

EFF INTERNSHIPS
The EFF has several internship opportunities, primarily based at our London office at Rich Mix, situated in Londons most vibrant fashion district around Brick Lane. The internship programme runs throughout the year. Placements usually last 3 months, for a minimum of 3 days a week. Internships are unpaid, however travel costs within London and lunch expenses can be covered.
Internship periods normally run from Jan-March, April-June, June-September, and October to December, though there is some flexibility to this. We aim to fill positions in advance, and we tend to get a lot of interest in the internship roles, so please apply as early as possible.
All internships will involve contributing to our core work and helping out with a variety of tasks, although each intern role is focused on a specific function. Applicants need be inspired by ethical fashion and have good written and people skills.
Your exposure to both the fashion and ethical fashion industry will facilitate greater understanding and insight into both worlds and the work of EFF. We always aim for all our interns to benefit from the experience as much as possible.
We value our interns a great deal as they are a crucial part of the team and vital to help us achieve our aims.

1.Executive Internship
Working alongside the EFF’s Managing Director, you will get involved in every aspect of the management of this creative international organization, including attending key meetings, funding , financial , and business management, research, administration and playing a support role on specific projects.

2.Marketing Internship
This role includes promoting the work of the Ethical Fashion Forum through newsletter, social media, website, and events, as part of a creative team.

3.Research Internship
Working alongside an associate director, collecting research for EFF projects and events.

4. Network Internship
Focusing on the online network and newsletter in addition to attending and reporting on networking events and parties. This role has an international focus, with the EFF looking to expand its networks of suppliers and fashion businesses across the world. We welcome applicants keen to build networks in specific areas, eg India, Africa, Latin America, Australia, Europe or anywhere else.

5. Africa Internship
This role focuses upon building networks in Africa, connecting with partners, promoting Fashion from Africa and opening doors to market for African based fashion businesses. This role acknowledges the great opportunity for fashion initiatives to change lives in Africa.

6. Visual Contributor Internship
Working alongside the marketing team, this role involves documenting EFF at our own and our partners London events. This role requires an applicant with experience of visual capture equipment and editing software to professional standard. This role provides great opportunity for networking and first hand experience of event marketing.

VOLUNTEERS & CONTRIBUTORS
We are also looking for people to contribute on the following projects:
1. STAR Members of the Network (Social Ties & Active Representative)
We are looking for volunteers to play an active role in developing the online network.
The network has really taken off, and membership is growing exponentially. There are now almost 3400 members from more than 100 countries in the world. In order to make the network as useful as it can be in affecting change in the Ethical Fashion Industry, we need support from you. We are interested in engaging STAR network members and network hosts interested in building networks within their city, area or country all over the world.

2. Ethical Fashion Social Hosts
On the last Thursday of every month we would like the members of the network to get together and meet each other face to face, in a bar, coffee shop, pub, village hall -anywhere you can meet locally. We want you to be able to put faces to names and have the opportunity to meet new people or spend time with old friends.
