To achieve this FDSE are helping a new generation of entrepreneurs, organizations and industry sectors develop innovative products and services that are environmentally viable, socially just and economically prosperous. The FDSE launched the Sustainable Fashion Academy in Sweden in 2008. The EFC was invited to contribute to the launch.

EFC projects are delivered by some of the foremost experts in the ethical fashion sector. The EFC draws from a pool of consultants within the EFF network, which includes leaders and pioneers in every aspect of ethical fashion.

The EFC has the same goals and mission as the Ethical Fashion Forum. It is a Company Limited by Shares, however all shares are owned by the Ethical Fashion Forum.

Therefore, any profits raised through the work of the Ethical Fashion Consultancy go directly to support the core work of the Ethical Fashion Forum, supporting, promoting and facilitating ethical practices in the fashion industry.

Profits from consultancy work provided the initial seed funding which allowed Ethical Fashion Forum core services such as mail outs, membership, and networking events to be launched.
