Amongst the contributors to the RE:Fashion Awards were Daisy Lowe, Sam Roddick, Vivienne Westwood, Zandra Rhodes, Katharine Hamnett, Pixie Geldof, Leah Weller and a stellar line up of stars.
The glittering event, presented by Louise Roe, saw major faces from the fashion world come together to recognise the most significant developments in social and environmental standards in the fashion industry in the 21st century. It included a catwalk showcase of authentic, beautiful designs made to the highest social and ethical standards- by some of the industries most respected names.
The RE: Fashion Awards represented the first step towards RE: Fashion’s goal: to transform social and environmental standards in the fashion industry within a decade.
Far more than a one off event, RE:Fashion represents the industry working together to achieve this goal.
The awards team are currently working on the next steps for RE:Fashion.
Further to the suggestions of businesses which took part in the RE:Fashion Awards, this includes proposals for a sustainability manifesto for the fashion industry.
