All hides are sourced from local surrounding farms in the West Country, using a process that is 100% environmentally friendly.
Why are they so passionate about their leather? this leather? Not only is it sustainable, non-polluting and totally 100% natural, environmentally friendly, but they believe it is the finest material available today. Sipahi won’t settle for anything less.
At Sipahi & Co, they take pride in driving sustainability through every element of our supply chain. Their buckles are sourced from one of the last remaining foundries in England. Individually sand cast and hand polished, these buckles are manufactured entirely by hand using re-purposed scrap brass; this is recycling in its purest form.
Leather and buckle meet in the saddlery. Using an ancient saddle stitch method, Sipahi belts are handmade using the traditional tools of English Master Saddlers and Lin Cable Au Chinois, a resilient waxed linen thread. Every detail is considered, from burnished edges to oval shaped belt holes for a perfect fit.
Sustainability is at the heart of Sipahi & Co; even their packaging is made in Britain from 100% recycled materials. Proud members of the ‘Ethical Fashion Forum’, the ‘Make it British’ and the ‘Made in Britain’ campaigns, when it comes to eco-conscious production, Sipahi seek to educate, encourage and inspire.
